The Tarrant County Bar Association has embraced the challenge of this program, and the association is in the process of establishing monthly legal clinics to interview and give legal advice to beerans.  The veterans will need to qualify financially to be given pro bono legal assistance.

We need the help of all legal associations to be able to develop a volunteer referral bank to refer a a case in the field of practice of the volunteer.  You can volunteer in two ways - one, attend as often as you can at the legal clinics on the third Friday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm to meet and interview the veterans needing service.  Two, volunteer to take at least one pro bono case which will be sent to you after the clinic and after all intake has been completed.  This case will be in your specific field of practice from a veteran who has been qualified and needs representation.
